The Flyers on Monday signed right wing Andreas Nodl and left wing Tom Sestito to contract extensions, and acquired a draft choice from Minnesota in exchange for center Darroll Powe.

The 24-year-old Nodl, 6 foot, 1 inch and 196 pounds, had 11 goals and 11 assists in 67 games last season, as Philadelphia won the Atlantic Division with 106 points. The 5-11, 195-pound Sestito, 23, was acquired from Columbus on Feb. 28 and appeared in 11 games for the Flyers' AHL affiliate.

The 5-11, 210-pound Powe, 26, signed with the Flyers in 2007 as an undrafted free agent out of Princeton. In 204 career games, he posted 22 goals and 21 assists with 130 minutes in penalties for Philadelphia.

The Wild gave up a third-round choice in next season's draft for Powe.

The Flyers have been the most active team in the offseason trade market, as they dealt away forwards Mike Richards (Los Angeles) and Jeff Carter (Columbus) last Thursday.
