Flyers' Carter, Laperriere return for Game 4

Published May. 22, 2010 8:25 p.m. ET

Jeff Carter and Ian Laperriere are both back in the Philadelphia Flyers' lineup for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Montreal Canadiens.

Carter missed 11 games because of a broken right foot. Laperriere was sidelined for 10 because of a concussion. The Flyers took a 2-1 series lead into Saturday's game.

Both players were originally thought to be out for the playoffs following their injuries. Daniel Carcillo and Andreas Nodl were removed from the lineup to make room.

Carter, who led the Flyers with 33 goals during the regular season, was injured by a shot from teammate Chris Pronger against New Jersey on April 20.

Laperriere was injured two days later, in the series-clinching victory over New Jersey, when he blocked a shot with his face.
