Even the officials are taking shots at Crosby now

Life isn't easy when you are an NHL superstar known for scoring (and with a concussion history to boot).

For Pittsburgh Penguins ace Sidney Crosby, there's always the worry of guys on the other team taking shots at him -- either to knock him out of the game or to try to get him out of his rhythm.

But you aren't supposed to have to worry about the guys in stripes right?

Well, that wasn't the case Tuesday night, as Crosby wound up catching an inadvertent shot to the face from a linesman in a loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. (h/t to FTW)

But hey, like we said before, Crosby's a scorer and Tuesday night was no different.

His team may have lost 4-1, but Sid the Kid notched his league-leading 100th point of the season with an assist on the Penguins' lone goal.
