BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Buffalo Sabres center Tyler Ennis says he feels 100 percent and is looking forward to resuming his career after missing the past three months recovering from a concussion.
The seventh-year player expressed relief and excitement to be back practicing on Thursday for the first time since being sidelined in a game at Washington on Dec. 30. The game was Ennis' fourth after he missed 12 games following a high hit by St. Louis Blues defenseman Robert Bertuzzo.
Ennis said the severity of the injury, which included several setbacks during his rehabilitation, left him fearful that his career might be over.
The Sabres are eliminated from playoff contention, and have already ruled Ennis out from playing in their final two games.
