ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) Anaheim Ducks forward Shawn Horcoff has been suspended for 20 games for violating the terms of the NHL's performance-enhancing substances program.
The NHL announced the suspension Tuesday.
Horcoff says he tried an unspecified treatment last fall to speed up his recovery from an injury, and he didn't know the treatment wasn't permitted under NHL rules.
