Bouma expected to make playoff debut

Published May. 8, 2015 3:17 p.m. ET

Lance Bouma has been out with an upper-body injury for the entirety of the playoffs, but it sounds like he may be back for tonights game.

“I’m feeling back to normal," Bouma told reporters. "Everything is feeling good. I feel like I’m ready, but we’ll see.”

Bouma provides Calgary with a spark of offense and a little bit of tenacity. His 16 goals in the regular season were fourth on the team, and his 34 points were good for seventh amongst his Flames. Bouma also led the Flames in total hits, with 264 in total, over 100 more than the second highest hitter on the team (Joe Colborne).

The Flames already feel confident in their speed against the Ducks, but adding Bouma back into the lineup gives them a physical edge that allows them to matchup more with Anaheim's style.
