Craig Anderson was tested more than Bishop. Anderson stopped 35 of 37 shots for Colorado (1-3-0).

The Avalanche beat the Blues 3-1 on Sept. 21 in St. Louis.

Bishop had 12 saves in the first period as the Blues took a 1-0 lead. Oshie took a pass in the high slot from Boyes and beat Anderson stick side at 7:14 of the period.

St. Louis missed a chance to extend its lead, when it had a two-man advantage for 1:35 beginning at 7:29 of the second period. Bishop maintained the shutout batting away Paul Stastny's shot off a 2-on-1 break in the last 2 minutes of the period.

Bishop caught a one-timer by Milan Hejduk at the start of the third period.

Colorado pulled Anderson with 1:25 remaining, but never put a shot on goal. Boyes tapped in an empty-netter with 42 seconds left.
