The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed right wing Jack Skille on injured reserve retroactive to Jan. 9 and have recalled left wing Josh Anderson from their American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Skille sustained a lower-body injury on Jan. 9 against Toronto and was expected to miss two weeks. The Madison, Wisconsin, native has five goals and two assists in 35 games with the Blue Jackets this season.

The 20-year-old Anderson has four goals and seven assists in 37 games with Springfield in 2014-15, his first professional season. He was Columbus' fourth selection, 95th overall, at the 2012 draft.
