The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated left wing Matt Calvert off injured reserve after he missed four games with an upper-body injury.

In addition, the club claimed defenseman Kevin Connauton off waivers from the Dallas Stars and assigned defenseman Frederic St-Denis to its American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The 24-year-old Calvert had one goal and one assist with six penalty minutes in nine games this season prior to being injured Nov. 7 at Carolina.
