Blackhawks goalie is an equipment manager's nightmare
Corey Crawford might be cursed, or at least his equipment is.
The Chicago Blackhawks goalie appears to be the victim of hockey gear theft, twice.
Just before the Stadium Series game between the Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins, Crawford took to Twitter in search of his specially designed mask for the game.
Anyone know where my Stadium Series Mask is? Cause we don't #stolen? pic.twitter.com/fXOHZQuTDc

The mask never arrived in Chicago and no one is able to locate it. Even the tracking number for the shipment continues to turn up empty.
Now, it appears his leg pads went missing after Saturday's game at Soldier Field.
"This is crazy," Crawford told the Chicago Tribune. "I’ve never seen this before. I’ve never heard of this before. It’s crazy, man. The trainers are all stunned that it happened. Honestly, I told every guy and some of the guys didn’t believe it happened."
Crawford wore black pads for the outdoor game and it's his set of white pads, the ones he wears most of the time, that have vanished. There supposedly is surveillance footage from Soldier Field that might help identify the thief.
