Adorable young Bruins fan fist-bumps players after pregame warmup
The Boston Bruins have earned a nomination for cutest video of the year.
Liam Fitzgerald, a 7-year-old who has Down syndrome and is a leukemia survivor, sat by the Bruins' tunnel after Tuesday's pregame warmups, reaching out to get some fist bumps from the players. That's exactly what he got, in heart-melting fashion.
Liam is no stranger to the Bruins, either. He was invited as a special guest to a game last February and met some of his favorite players, according to CBS Boston. He even celebrated Halloween dressed as his favorite B's player, Adam McQuaid.
