WATCH: Ziggy Ansah asked Joe Staley to let him get sack while mic'd up
Detroit Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah did everything he could to get a sack against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16. He even tried asking 49ers left tackle Joe Staley to let him get one.
Ansah wore a microphone on the field last Sunday, revealing the humorous exchange between him and Staley.

The Lions sacked 49ers quarterback Blaine Gabbert three times in the 32-17 win, but Ansah didn't get one. Although Staley didn't let him have the sack he so dearly wanted, the third-year pass-rusher still created plenty of pressure and finished the game with five sacks (four solo).
Heading into Week 17, Ansah is tied with Cincinnati's Carlos Dunlap for third most sacks on the season (13.5). He trails Houston's J.J. Watt by a sack and Oakland's Khalil Mack by a sack-and-a-half, so he could still finish as the league's leader with a big game against the Chicago Bears this weekend.
