WATCH: Army Staff Sgt. returns home, surprises family at Patriots game

Christmas is just a few days away, so the more feel-good stories there are, the better. This one certainly qualifies, and it comes from the U.S. Army and the New England Patriots.

Staff Sergeant Shawn Hogan, who was stationed at the U.S. Embassy in Georgia, gifted his family with tickets to the Patriots game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. An extremely kind gesture, obviously, and one that the family was very thankful for. But what he did next was even more meaningful.

After sharing a message on the big screen at Gillette Stadium, Hogan surprised his family by running down the steps to greet them.
