Vikings' Thielen emerges as secret weapon in Week 17 win over Packers
The Minnesota Vikings turned to an unusual playmaker in their 20-13 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 17. Wide receiver Adam Thielen caught only one pass for 16 yards, but he also recorded two carries for 67 yards -- the same amount of yardage running back Adrian Peterson produced on 19 carries.
Thielen's first carry was on a fake punt, which went for 41 yards and led to Minnesota's first points of the game.

Later in the game, Thielen turned a nifty end around into a 26-yard gain. He finished the game with a team-leading 83 yards from scrimmage on just three offensive touches. In the 15 games leading up to the season finale, the former undrafted free agent out of Minnesota State produced 150 yards (10 yards per game) on just 13 offensive touches.
Thanks to his breakout performance, Thielen is no longer flying under the radar as the Vikings enter the playoffs as the NFC's third seed.
