Vick inactive for Eagles-Cowboys game

Michael Vick is sitting out the Eagles' game against the Dallas Cowboys because of a leg injury.

The Pro Bowl quarterback is one of several starters that won't play for the NFC East champions on Sunday. Philadelphia is locked into the No. 3 seed and will host a first-round playoff game next weekend.

Vick injured his quad on the first play in a 24-14 loss to Minnesota on Tuesday. Kevin Kolb, who began the season as the starter, took his spot.

Wide receiver DeSean Jackson (foot), cornerback Asante Samuel (knee), running back LeSean McCoy, defensive end Trent Cole and right tackle Winston Justice also are inactive.
