Vic Beasley already making an impression with his new coaches

The Atlanta Falcons and rookie Vic Beasley may just be a match made in heaven. To this point, the Falcons are more than happy with what they see from their first round draft pick, according to Vaughn McClure of ESPN.

Beasley has been so impressive, that coach Richard Smith even went as far as giving him a comparison to Von Miller.

"I hate to relate him to somebody else ... he's got great speed and quickness, very similar to Von Miller," said Smith, who coached Miller in Denver last season. "I'm not saying he's a Von Miller. You've got to go out and earn those things. But I think if you talk to Vic, he would tell you that [Miller] is one of the players that he's watched over the years. But he does have that elite quickness, very similar to what Von Miller had when he came out."

Smith was careful to pull back when saying that Beasley has fully exceeded expectations thus far, largely due to the fact that teams haven't even put pads on yet. With that said, Smith sees the potential.

"You see the potential. All the things that got him drafted, you see. But now you're going to have to see the other part. When the pads come on, that's where there's separation." Smith told ESPN.

To say that fans are excited to see what Beasley can bring to the Falcons defense in 2015 would be a major understatement. The 2015 season just can't get here fast enough.
