VH1 to chronicle Ochocinco's wedding
Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada have signed on to a VH1 reality series to chronicle their journey to the altar, the network said Monday.
Ochocinco, wide receiver for the New England Patriots, and Lozada, from VH1's "Basketball Wives," have been engaged since Nov. 2010 and will marry in Florida this July.
"Audiences will get a glimpse into all aspects of Evelyn and Chad's relationship," the cable network said in a statement about the upcoming show "Ev and Ocho."
"Preparation will not be easy as these stars battle the balance between their hectic daily schedules and planning a celebrity-studded wedding. Planning 'happily ever after' is never a smooth course," the statement added.
The eight-part series premieres in September and concludes with a two-part wedding finale.
Lozada, 36, was previously engaged to NBA player Antoine Walker and has a daughter from a previous relationship.
This will also be Ochocinco's first trip down the aisle. The 34-year-old NFL player has four children from three previous relationships.
