Urlacher out, Forte active for Bears

Published Dec. 30, 2012 12:15 p.m. ET

Chicago is without linebacker Brian Urlacher for its must-win game at Detroit on Sunday.

The Bears need a victory and a Minnesota loss to make the playoffs, but Urlacher is inactive with a hamstring injury. He hasn't played since Dec. 2.

Running back Matt Forte is active despite a right ankle problem. Quarterback Josh McCown, running back Armando Allen, safety Chris Conte, linebacker Blake Costanzo, tackle Cory Brandon and defensive tackle Nate Collins are inactive for the Bears.

Detroit's inactives are quarterback Kellen Moore, running back Kevin Smith, cornerback Drayton Florence, safety Ricardo Silva, tackle Jason Fox, tackle Corey Hilliard and defensive end Ronnell Lewis.
