Trufant active for Seahawks

Published Nov. 1, 2009 5:54 p.m. ET

Former Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Trufant was active Sunday for the Seattle Seahawks against Dallas, two days after being activated from the physically unable to perform list. The Seahawks were without backup defensive backs Travis Fisher (pelvis) and C.J. Wallace (hamstring) and played their first game since three-time Pro Bowl middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu was put on the injured reserve list this week after surgery to repair a torn left pectoral muscle. Dallas was without kick returnner Allen Rossum, who in his debut for his hometown team last week strained his hamstring on the opening kickoff. Cowboys nose tackle Jay Ratliff was active and in the starting lineup despite missing practice Friday after straining his knee in an earlier workout.
