In addition to losing Ryan Fitzpatrick, Geno Smith, and the game on Sunday, the New York Jets were also a handed an injury at the wide receiver position.

Brandon Marshall suffered injuries to his toe and ankle in Sunday's loss to the Oakland Raiders, but he was able to finish the game, showing a great deal of toughness as he has throughout his career. On Monday, head coach Todd Bowles provided an update on Marshall's status Week 9, and it wasn't as positive as some may have hoped.

Bowles said it's "too early to tell" if Marshall will be able to go this week against the Jaguars. He's been the No. 1 receiver for the Jets all season, catching 50 passes for 686 yards and four touchdowns in seven games.

If Marshall is unable to play this week, Eric Decker and Jeremy Kerley would likely be the top two targets for whoever starts for the Jets at quarterback.
