Todd Bowles doesn't sound optimistic about Revis' Week 12 status

New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis left Sunday's game against the Houston Texans with a concussion and was unable to return. Revis took a knee to the head while attempting to make a tackle and entered concussion protocol following the injury.

On Monday, head coach Todd Bowles gave an update on his star cornerback, but he didn't sound too optimistic about his status for this week's game against the Dolphins.

"He wasn't feeling any better today," Bowles said.

Of course, that doesn't mean he won't be available to play, but it's not a good sign to say the least. If he's unable to go on Sunday, it'll be a big blow for the Jets defense that has already been struggling of late. Just a few plays after Revis exited the game, the Texans scored a touchdown on his replacement, Marcus Williams.

Williams would likely move into a starting role if Revis is unable to go against the Dolphins, which could lead to a big day for Jarvis Landry and Miami's receivers.
