Titans WR Wright planning to play against Oakland
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright, who has missed the last three games with a knee injury, said he expects to be available for this week's matchup against the Oakland Raiders.
Wright sprained his MCL in Tennessee's Nov. 1 loss to the Houston Texans.
“I feel way better,’’ Wright said, per the team's official website. “I plan on playing Sunday, hopefully.”
Sunday's game will be Wright's first playing under interim head coach Mike Mularkey.
“I think things have been real different,’’ Wright said. “Coach Mularkey has a different attitude of how he wants things run around here, and we are all trying to take on that attitude, really. He has a tough mentality and wants things done a certain way and that’s what we’re doing.”
In seven games this season, Wright has 28 receptions for 343 yards and three touchdowns.
