Things between Rob Ryan and Dennis Allen going great so far

For anyone who expected any issues between Rob Ryan and Dennis Allen, we've seen none to this point. As a matter of fact, we've seen just the opposite, as the two have apparently gotten along great, according to Joel A. Erickson of The Advocate.

So how'd the first run at OTAs go? Apparently, Ryan and Allen worked well both together and with the defense.

"During the first organized team activity session open to the media, Allen manned the secondary, Ryan worked with the front seven and then the two collaborated when the team came together for 11-on-11 work. Instead of tension, Allen and Ryan have nothing but good things to say about their pairing so far." Erickson explained.

When Allen spoke about Ryan, he had the following to say:

"I think we both understand who each other is as a coach,” Allen told The Advocate. “There’s really no place for egos. Everybody’s got them, but really (it’s about) being able to set those egos aside for the betterment of the team.”

As for Ryan, he was all smiles when talking about his new partner in crime. “I think he’s a great guy, just like me,” Ryan said. “Bottom line is he’s an exceptional coach, he’s a detailed guy, and he’s fantastic.”

Well, there you have it. One quote from Ryan can essentially sum up the relationship between the two to this point.
