Teens trash ex-NFL player's home
A former NFL player whose vacant upstate New York home was trashed during a party attended by up to 400 teenagers says he will use their own Twitter postings to reveal their names.
Authorities say they are investigating damage caused by the Labor Day weekend party at Brian Holloway's vacation home in rural Stephentown, about 25 miles southeast of Albany.
Holloway, an offensive lineman for the Patriots and Raiders in the 1980s, lives most of the time in Florida. He says he returned to the New York farmhouse to find it with broken windows, holes in walls, graffiti and urine-soaked carpets. He estimated the damage at $20,000.
He says some of the Twitter photos showed teenagers standing on countertops, posing with drinks in hand and mugging for the camera.
