Batch was hurt despite playing only four plays in the Steelers' 27-24 loss — his first game action since 2007. He is expected to undergo surgery later this week to repair the wrist and miss approximately six weeks. Batch sat out last season with a broken collarbone.

Roethlisberger left with concussion-like symptoms when his head struck Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson's knee while he was being dropped for a 1-yard loss in overtime. Roethlisberger was examined Monday and his status for Sunday night's game in Baltimore is uncertain.

Dennis Dixon is the Steelers' No. 3 quarterback, but hasn't played this season and has appeared in only one NFL game.
