Jeremy Langford is doing all he can to help Chicago Bears fans forget about starting running back Matt Forte, who's currently sidelined with a knee injury.

The rookie running back has been sensational with Forte out the past two games. In a 37-13 shellacking of the St. Louis Rams, Langford was particularly productive with 20 rushes for 73 yards and a touchdown, as well as seven receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown.

Langford joined Hall of Fame running backs Walter Payton and Gale Sayers as the only other player in Bears franchise history to finish a game with at least 100 receiving yards, a receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown, according to ESPN's SportsCenter.

Langford's highlight play was a short screen pass, which he took 83 yards for a touchdown. His rushing touchdown was a six-yard score in the fourth quarter that put the Bears up by 24 points with less than five minutes to play, effectively icing the game.

In the last two games, Langford has gained 324 yards from scrimmage and scored three touchdowns.
