Sean Payton has little to say about Deflategate-Bountygate comparisons

When it comes to any Deflategate and Bountygate comparisons, New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton doesn't have much to say on the topic. It's not all that surprising, as Payton is likely focused on just getting past the whole Bountygate thing all together.

According to Mike Triplett of ESPN, Payton simply bowed out on talking about it.

"Listen, I knew that question was coming at some point," Payton said while addressing the media Saturday during New Orleans' rookie minicamp. "We went through a process three years ago, and I'm sure they're going through one right now. But other than that, our focus right now for me and our team is on what we're doing right now. We've got enough problems ourselves to solve. And that's what I'd say."

Honestly, it's probably better for Payton to just stay away from the topic all together. It's likely a sore spot him, so what's the reason to bring up an issue that's already long gone at this point?
