Seahawks VP for player personnel joins Titans

The Seahawks say their vice president of player personnel, Ruston Webster, has joined the Tennessee Titans in a similar role.

Seahawks general manager John Schneider said in a statement Friday that Webster played a key role in this year's draft and he wishes him well.

Webster came to Seattle in 2006 after 18 years with Tampa Bay, where he worked with former Seahawks president Tim Ruskell from 1988 to 2002. Ruskell was forced to resign in December, and Webster served as interim general manager until Schneider was hired in mid-January.
