GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) The Seattle Seahawks lost defensive end Cliff Avril with a concussion in the third quarter of the Super Bowl.

Avril fell to the ground and remained there for a moment while the Seattle training staff worked with him.

He was able to get up and walk off the field, then went to the locker room, where the concussion was diagnosed.

It was the second significant injury to a Seattle player. Cornerback Jeremy Lane injured his left arm after intercepting Tom Brady's pass in the end zone late in the first quarter.
