Seahawks' Graham done for season with patellar tendon injury
Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham is done for the season after suffering a patellar tendon injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told reporters after that game that Graham will undergo season-ending surgery. No timetable was given for his recovery.
Graham's right leg buckled underneath him on a pass in the end zone and he clutched at his knee. An aircast was placed from his ankle to his knee before Graham was taken off the field on a cart, lifting his finger in the air in the end zone.
The sixth-year tight end, who was acquired from New Orleans in a blockbuster offseason trade, missed only two games in his five seasons with the Saints.
Graham entered Sunday's contest tied with Doug Baldwin for the team lead with 44 receptions and second on the Seahawks with 530 yards through the first 10 games.
