Sam Bradford seen taking 1st-team snaps while Vikings remain mum on Week 2 starter
Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer continues to "keep his cards close to the vest" like he said he would when it comes to whom his starting quarterback will be Sunday against the Packers. But it looks like we might have gotten a clue Wednesday which way he's leaning.
According to Charley Walters of the Pioneer Press, Sam Bradford was seen taking all of the first-team reps in Vikings practice. Does this mean that Bradford will replace Shaun Hill for the Week 2 matchup? Not necessarily but it definitely can't hurt.
Hill was serviceable in the Vikings' season-opening win over the Titans, completing 18 of 33 attempts for 236 yards. But the Vikings didn't trade a first-round and a four-round pick for Bradford earlier this month to have him hold a clipboard.
Barring something unforeseen, Bradford will eventually be the Vikings starter this season. The only question that remains is when it will happen.
