Saints sign rookie LT Brown

Saints second-round draft choice Charles Brown has signed a contract with New Orleans in time for the left tackle to report for training camp.

Saints general manager Mickey Loomis says Brown signed the four-year deal on Monday.

Brown, who is 6-foot-5, 297-pounds, was the 64th overall selection in last April's the NFL draft following a standout career at Southern California.

Brown started two seasons for the Trojans and was named first-team All-Pac 10 as a senior in 2009.

The Saints report to training camp on Thursday and open practice on Friday.

Brown is the fourth of the Saints' six 2010 draft choices to sign. Still unsigned are first-round pick Patrick Robinson and third-round pick Jimmy Graham.
