Rosenhaus: NFL is nothing without him

Published Oct. 7, 2011 1:00 a.m. ET

The NFL would ''fall apart'' if not for Drew Rosenhaus.

At least, that's what the high-profile agent tells CBS' ''60 Minutes'' for a segment airing Sunday night.

Rosenhaus admits it may sound arrogant, but says ''I really believe that the NFL would fall apart without me.''

Rosenhaus gets three percent of the contracts he negotiates for his clients and says he earns it by keeping the NFL ''running smoothly.'' He takes ''a couple hundred'' calls a day, giving his clients advice on anything, on the field or off it.

One of his toughest tasks?

Visiting clients in jail.

He says, ''There's nothing, nothing tougher than that.''
