Roddy White basically has zero interest in taking a pay cut

While Roddy White made it known that he wanted to be a Falcon for life, he apparently has no interest in taking less money to remain with the Atlanta Falcons. So, it'll either be him remaining on the team with a cap hit of more than $6 million, or the Falcons deciding to go another route, it seems.

When asked about the potential to take a pay cut to stay in Atlanta, he gave a straightforward response.

Via Vaughn McClure of ESPN:

"I'm not interested in taking a pay cut," White told ESPN on Monday afternoon.

McClure pointed out the $6 million-plus that he would count against the cap, as well as the fact that White is due $4.25 million next season alone. While he's been one of the best receivers in the history of the franchise, this is obviously going to be a situation to watch as the offseason gets rolling.
