Rob Gronkowski has the most receiving yards by TE in Patriots history
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been in the NFL for six seasons, catching 378 passes for 5,537 yards and a ridiculous 65 touchdowns. Gronk's done nothing but set records and prove that he's one of the best players in franchise history.
On Sunday against the New York Jets, Gronkowski etched his name in the record book once again, passing Ben Coates for the most receiving yards by a Patriots tight end. Gronk's 5,537 are 66 more than Coates had in his nine seasons with the Patriots.
If Gronkowski is able to stay relatively healthy for the remainder of his career, there's no telling where he'll finish on the all-time list for the league's greatest tight ends. He's already become the fastest to reach 60 touchdowns and has more 10-touchdown seasons than any other tight end in NFL history.
Add in the fact that he has Tom Brady throwing him the ball and he's got everything going for him.
