Richard Sherman chosen for 'Madden 15' cover
Talk about living the dream. Another one came true for Richard Sherman on Friday.
"It's an unbelievable experience. It's something you've always dreamed about as a little kid," the Seattle Seahawks cornerback said.
Yes, kids now grow up hoping not only to make the NFL, not just to win a Super Bowl, but also to maybe really make it -- getting to be on the cover of "Madden 15."
Sherman becomes the second Seahawk to be put on the cover of the video game, after running back Shaun Alexander in 2006. And Alexander is a prime example of the Madden jinx. Alexander was coming off a tremendous season, having rushed for nearly 1,900 yards and scored 28 touchdowns in 2005. But he suffered a broken foot and was limited to 10 games in 2006, and after two more years his career was over.
