RG3 cleans out locker, leaves Redskins a parting note
Injuries and controversy derailed Robert Griffin III in Washington, so when he cleaned out his locker Monday morning, it was likely for the last time.
RG3 has not officially been released from the Redskins, but all signs point to the Redskins moving on from the former No. 2 overall draft pick. If it is truly his final time at Redskins Park, he made sure to leave the team with one final message.

Griffin was also caught in the act of "moving out" in what was described as one of the sadder and more surreal scenes around Redskins Park in some time.
And he didn't want to talk about it. From the AP:
He took exactly zero snaps for Washington all season as Kirk Cousins led the team to a 9-7 record and NFC East championship. The Redskins lost to the Packers on Sunday in an NFC wild-card playoff game, ending their season.
Whether RG3 returns for the next one is up in the air, but head coach Jay Gruden was certainly not attempting to drum up a quarterback controversy with his comments Monday:
What an unreal fall from grace for RG3.
