The Dallas Cowboys have found their replacement for cornerback Terence Newman, who was released on Tuesday.
Brandon Carr, who played four years for the Kansas City Chiefs, has come to an agreement with the Cowboys, according to multiple reports. The contract terms are reportedly for five-years and $50 million.
Carr was the No. 1 free agent cornerback left on the market, as the St. Louis Rams had already locked down Cortland Finnegan.
Carr was selected in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft and played in all 16 games each season for the Chiefs.
