Report: Tony Romo at risk of re-breaking his collarbone
By Steve DelVecchio
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will make his return Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, but that does not mean he is back to 100 percent health.
Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that Romo has been told he is at risk of re-breaking his collar bone, but he wanted to play anyway.
With the 5-5 New York Giants leading the NFC East, Romo understands that the Cowboys still have a chance to win the division despite their 2-7 record. It certainly isn’t a coincidence that Dallas hasn’t won a game since Romo went down. He is incredibly important to their offense, and having him on the field is the only way the Cowboys can make a run.
If you want to know how Romo feels about his team’s chances, just look at the awesome clip he posted on Twitter earlier this week. Romo doesn’t get enough credit for his toughness and willingness to play hurt.
