Report: Titans bringing in RB Jonas Gray for visit
The Tennessee Titans already added one new running back over the weekend with the trade for former Cleveland Browns back Terrance West. Now, according to report, they're exploring the idea of adding another player to their backfield.
Per ESPN, the Titans will host former New England Patriots running back Jonas Gray for a visit on Tuesday. Gray cleared waivers after being released by the Patriots on Saturday.
The 25-year-old Gray averaged 4.6 yards per carry last season, including a 201-yard performance in a November game against the Indianapolis Colts.
In addition to West, the Titans currently have Antonio Andrews and Dexter McCluster at running back behind starter Bishop Sankey. Rookie David Cobb is on short-term injured reserve and is eligible to return after eight games.
