Report: Patriots work out former Dolphins CB Zack Bowman
The New England Patriots have been active this week following their first loss of the season. They made two additions on the offensive side of the ball, signing wide receiver Damaris Johnson and running back Trey Williams, while they placed rookie defensive end Trey Flowers on injured reserve.
Additionally, they reportedly worked out former Miami Dolphins cornerback Zack Bowman, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.
Bowman was a fifth-round pick of the Chicago Bears in 2008, where he spent six seasons. Since then, he's had one-year stints with the New York Giants and Dolphins, playing both cornerback and safety.
He's recorded 13 interceptions and 29 passes defensed in seven-plus seasons and has started 28 games in his career. The Patriots didn't sign Bowman, but they're seemingly keeping their options open, as they typically do.
