Report: Joe Hawley will be limited to start training camp

Published Jul. 29, 2015 12:14 a.m. ET

The Atlanta Falcons aren't rushing Joe Hawley back into action it seems. According to Vaughn McClure of ESPN, Hawley, who suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in his right knee last year, will be limited on full-team reps.

It's not a massive surprise, largely because there's no reason to rush Hawley back into action. McClure reports that Hawley will go through individual drills, but is going to slowly work his way into the full-team action.

It's unknown how long it will take Hawley to get back to full strength, but he even said earlier this offseason that he may not be 100 percent all season.

Hawley will be one of the many names to watch throughout training camp for the Falcons.
