Published Nov. 22, 2015 6:12 p.m. ET

In search of depth on defense after losing defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks for the season, the Jacksonville Jaguars brought in former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Da'Quan Bowers for a tryout on Friday, according to a report.

Per Pro Football Talk, the Jaguars auditioned Bowers, defensive end Tim Jamison and defensive tackle Ishmaa’ily Kitchen, but didn't sign any of the three.

Bowers, who was selected in the second round of the 2011 draft by the Buccaneers, has 66 tackles and seven sacks over four seasons in the NFL. The 25-year-old was released by Tampa Bay in September.
