Report: Favre may go 'Dancing'
Apparently once-and-for-all retired from football, Brett Favre may be taking whatever moves he has left to the dance floor.
Perhaps following in the dance steps of former NFL greats Kurt Warner, Emmitt Smith and Jerry Rice, Favre is rumored to be on a list of finalists to compete on “Dancing with the Stars,” according to USA Today.
Season 12 of the show is scheduled to begin March 21, with the cast being announced on the Feb. 28 episode of “The Bachelor.”
Favre, a three-time NFL MVP, recently completed his 20th season in the NFL — perhaps the most disappointing in his career. The league’s career leader in touchdown passes, interceptions and wins, among numerous categories, saw his record streak of 297 games started end with an injury this season. He finished with 11 touchdowns and 19 interceptions in 13 games while the Vikings finished the season at 6-10.
Favre also spent this past season dealing with allegations by former New York Jets media personality Jenn Sterger that he sexually harassed her while a member of the team in 2008. Favre was fined by the NFL for not cooperating with the league’s investigation but not penalized for the alleged harassment.
