The Lions listed rookie Matt Stafford as their third quarterback. Daunte Culpepper started in place of Stafford, who has a shoulder injury.

Baltimore's other inactives were offensive lineman David Hale, tight end L.J. Smith, and nose tackles Brandon McKinney and Kelly Talavou. John Beck was listed as the Ravens' third quarterback.

Detroit also deactivated defensive back Jahi Word-Daniels, fullback Jerome Felton, center Melvin Fowler, tackle Corey Hilliard, tight end Casey FitzSimmons, defensive tackle Andre Fluellen and defensive end Dewayne White.
