Redskins' Trent Williams on injury: 'It hurt a lot'

Published Nov. 23, 2015 1:46 a.m. ET

Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams injured his left knee in Sunday’s Week 11 44-16 loss to the Carolina Panthers, and although he’s not yet sure how serious the injury is, the team is worried.

Williams limped off to the sidelines after the fourth quarter play where he got hurt, but he was carted off the field shortly after. He talked about his injury after the game.

“It hurt. It hurt a lot,” Williams said to reporters, per CBS DC. “I was unsure whether it slid out of place or whether it had a fracture in it. So we just wanted to check and make sure everything was okay.”
