Redskins jump for joy when 313-pound lineman fields a punt

Before the Washington Redskins could break camp on Monday and head back to their facility at Ashburn, a defensive lineman needed to field a punt from a Jugs machine. Why? Because it's always entertaining to make linemen perform feats outside of their usual skill sets.

After the 320-pound end Chris Baker failed to catch a punt on multiple tries, the 313-pound Ricky Jean Francois stepped in with the special teams play.

“I’m fixin’ to clown Baker now,” Francois said, via the Washington Post. “I’m fixin’ to get on him on Twitter, any type of social media that I caught the pass to let us go home. We could’ve still be out there doing two-minute [drills], but the man with the hands had to come through.”

Francois has already gotten after Baker, and Baker has excuses.
