Ravens TE Gillmore exits with back injury

The Baltimore Ravens played the majority of Sunday's 15-13 loss to Miami with just one tight end after Crockett Gillmore went down with a back injury midway through the first quarter.

Gillmore appeared to suffer the injury when he was hit in the back by Dolphins linebacker Koa Misi as he fought for more yardage at the end of a 7-yard reception. Gillmore was ruled out for the game almost immediately, but head coach John Harbaugh did not have an update on his status during his post-game remarks.

With rookie tight end Maxx Williams already sidelined with a concussion, fellow rookie Nick Boyle was the lone remaining tight end against the Dolphins. Boyle had three catches for 15 yards.

The Ravens' depth chart has been gutted by injuries this season with 17 players on season-ending injured reserve, including quarterback Joe Flacco, No. 1 receiver Steve Smith, and top running back Justin Forsett.
