Ravens place wide receiver Darren Waller on injured reserve
The Baltimore Ravens placed rookie receiver Darren Waller on season-ending injured reserve due to the hamstring injury he suffered in Monday night's loss to Arizona.
Waller, a sixth-round pick out of Georgia Tech, had just two catches for 18 yards this season, but he was playing well as a special teams gunner. One of Waller's receptions, a 17-yard completion, keyed the Ravens' game-tying drive in Pittsburgh late in the fourth quarter, leading to their only win of the season.
The Ravens promoted offensive tackle De'Ondre Wesley from the practice squad in a corresponding move, which was necessitated by Eugene Monroe's shoulder injury in Arizona.
Running back Terrence Magee was signed again to the practice squad, as was offensive tackle Marcel Jones.
