Rams sign Junior Seau's nephew as an undrafted free agent

Ian Seau didn't hear his name called during last week's NFL Draft, but he did get a call from the Los Angeles Rams, who signed the nephew of Hall of Famer Junior Seau as an undrafted free agent.

Ian Seau, who played defensive end at Nevada, doesn't possess the size to play that position at the NFL level. The 6-3, 250-pounder, who had 10 sacks and 18 1/2 tackles for loss his senior year with the Wolf Pack, will probably play linebacker, the same position his famous uncle played during his 20-year career.

Ian Seau was the first Nevada player to be named first- or second-team All-Mountain West in consecutive years. His uncle was inducted into the Hall of Fame posthumously last year.
